Empowering Growth,
Maximising Potential

Founder. CEO. Board Adviser.
Helping businesses grow, protect what they create and realise their potential.
Rachel Jones is an entrepreneur, business leader and adviser who helps founders and organisations identify opportunities, overcome challenges and scale with confidence. Her career spans technology, consumer products, communications, social enterprise and public policy, bringing together commercial growth, innovation and positive impact.
Building businesses has taught Rachel that growth is rarely, if ever, a straight line or the anticipated hockey stick! Success, again never overnight and more likely ten years plus, comes with setbacks, difficult decisions, resilience and learning, experiences she now draws upon when supporting others.
“I’ve founded businesses, closed deals, recruited teams, raised investment, made mistakes, navigated setbacks, and started all over again with the same vigour as before. It is these experiences that shape how I work today.”
Rachel founded SnapDragon Monitoring after her own product, totseat, was counterfeited. Determined to take action, she mastered the complexities of online brand protection and created SnapDragon to help SMEs combat fakes.
Under Rachel’s leadership, SnapDragon grew from startup to internationally recognised technology business, protecting brands worldwide while achieving sustained high-growth performance.
During this time, the company earned a King’s Award for International Trade (2024) and the Queen’s Award for Innovation (2020). Rachel herself has been recognised with notable award wins – namely CEED’s Women in Leadership 2022 and the China Britain Business Council’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2020.
During six months of 2025, Rachel was delighted to serve as Interim Head of Scotland for Smart Works, providing strategic and operational leadership, support and challenge to the core team and over 150 volunteers. She played a key role in helping the charity address its biggest challenges and deliver against its vision, combining strategic leadership with a collaborative and dynamic approach to strengthening partnerships, driving innovation and expanding the delivery of coaching, confidence and clothing support to clients across Scotland.
In summary: Rachel is a non-technical founder, consumer products entrepreneur, charity leader, NED and trusted voice within government and industry networks, with achievements which include:
- raising over £4m+ investment,
- delivering 58% CAGR from startup to scale up,
- selling into 50+ international markets,
- King’s & Queen’s Awards for Enterprise,
- building a 30-person+ multidisciplinary team,
- delivering zero customer churn during scale-up growth.

Championing brand protection, supporting entrepreneurs and women
In 2023, following a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, Rachel made the decision to hand over SnapDragon’s daily operations to a new CEO, allowing the company to continue thriving while she transitioned to a Non-Executive Director and Ambassadorial role both for SnapDragon and other business entities. However, her passion for SnapDragon’s mission remains unwavering, and she continues to guide its future while championing brand protection with the same relentless energy that launched the company.
Rachel is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, ethical business and helping people and organisations fulfil their potential. Alongside her advisory and board roles, she works with founders, leadership teams and growing businesses to navigate growth, fundraising, brand protection and organisational change.
She is currently Chair of the Scottish Anti-Illicit Trade Group, Co-Chair of the UK’s IPO Crime Group as well as being a volunteer Coach and Mentor for Smart Works. Rachel sits on the Board of the Morebattle Community Shop and has recently been appointed to the Board of Glencraft, a not-for-profit social enterprise which manufactures luxury mattresses.

Thoroughly enjoyed speaking to Rachel Jones for the second episode of our High Growth Leadership podcast. Lots of relevant and relatable content for early stage business leaders and, in particular, any founders without a Tech background looking to successfully scale a Tech business. David Blair and I really appreciated Rachel’s candour when discussing the challenges female founders face raising investment and her experience of stepping back into a NED role.
